Gallery + Sculpture Tour Guides
We are seeking individuals with a strong interest in the visual arts, preferably those with an art related tertiary qualification, who are confident in their communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others.
Applicants not meeting academic qualifications criteria, but with previous guiding experience in an art environment, will be considered.
Conducting tours for the general public including adults, school groups and special event groups within the Gallery and/or Sculpture Park
Participate in training and commit to regular research on upcoming exhibitions, including attendance of related public programs including Art Chats
Promote public interest in the Gallery and its programs
Participate in rostered tour guiding as organised by the head tour guide, and assist the education coordinator as required for school tours
Tours must be informative and friendly, providing factual information and visual analysis of artworks

Education Program Assistants
McClelland is seeking Education Volunteers to assist with education events, programs and tours.
Applicants will ideally have experience working with children in an educational capacity, preferably having teaching qualifications or be teachers in training. A commitment of one half-day per fortnight (Tuesday to Friday – some Mondays) is required.
Applicants must be confident in addressing the key selection criteria as specified within the McClelland Education Volunteer Position Description.

Front of House Gallery Volunteers
Be the face of McClelland and meet and greet visitors, providing information on current exhibitions, both inside the gallery and within the sculpture grounds.
Receive and direct incoming enquires and assist with the promotion of an exciting range of programs and opening events to visitors, while ensuring the security of our gallery spaces.
