We offer guided tours for a fee of $5.00 per person – bookings essential and please give two weeks notice (minimum 5 people or $25.00 minimum).
If you have more than 15 people in your group we will arrange several guides to ensure a personalised experience.

Add a Café Experience to your Tour
You can add morning or afternoon tea, or a lunch option in our popular café to your tour to make for a half-day experience at McClelland.
Lunch: we can cater to suit your budget ranging from sandwiches to choosing from our a la carte menu. Prices vary depending on your selection, and our café manager will liaise to suit your budget.
Booking Your Tour
It is important that you book in advance as only a limited number of tours are offered on a given day. Please note your preferred day and time may not always be available due to prior bookings and guide availability, so we suggest having an alternative date in mind.
STEP 1: TOUR REQUEST
Select your preferred time and date.
Email our tour coordinator, Shireen at firstname.lastname@example.org with details of:
Preferred time and date (plus an alternate date)
Name of your group and contact details
Number of people in your group
Any special requirements, such as reserving our buggy for those with mobility needs
If you wish to book morning or afternoon tea, or a lunch in the café.
STEP 2: BOOKING
We will then contact you to confirm details and whether a tour and guide is available at your preferred day and time.
We will then arrange payment options with you.
If you are booking for lunch, our café manager will liaise with you on menu details.
STEP 3: PAYMENT
Payment option as arranged is required in advance to confirm your booking.
Please bring a receipt of your payment with you to the Gallery.
In the event of a cancellation or reduction of numbers in your party 48 hours or less before your booking, you will incur a 50% deduction on your payment. The balance will be refunded to you.
A golf cart that seats up to 5 people can be arranged when booking. Priority is given to visitors who require mobility assistance. Please advise if you have any requirements in your group when making your reservation.
Weather and Safety
Outdoor tours will not be conducted on days with extreme weather, such as heatwave conditions or extreme fire risk- organisers will be notified in advance.
Refunds will be provided in the case of a cancellation due to weather or other conditions that pose an Occupational Health and Safety risk.
Our experienced volunteer McClelland Guides are Mary Daly, Sue Donnelly, Gus van der Heyde, Helen Gorissen and Robin Rehn, as well as others who have been sharing insights into our collection for over a decade!
